Hunger Doesn’t Take The Weekend Off, Neither Do Our Volunteers

066How difficult is it to make sure every child in Horry Co. has something to eat at home and a gift to receive on their birthday?  We'll let you know when we get there.  We are currently meeting these basic needs for over 1,000 local children every week.  You can bet serving every child will be a monumental task.  However, we plan to get there by helping one more child at time.

So how difficult is it for us to serve one more child?  Not hard at all, if you are willing to help.

Help 4 Kids Grandkids 110913Help 4 Kids HS Guys 110913Good morning Volunteers,

Once again we would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful job you did this past Saturday.
We filled the van once again and collected almost $600 in cash donations!!!
We had 3 wonderful young men from Socastee HS.  Zack, Roby and Martin.
We also had Mary Daniels 4 beautiful grandchildren helping.
I’ve attached pictures of all of them.
Without your continued support this monthly food collection program would not work and it would be so hard to feed the 2,800 children each week.
We will not be having a food drive in December but we will begin again in January and will be having a food drive each month on the same day at the Surfside Walmart and the Garden City Walmart.  We will need a lot of hands and open hearts to make 2014 the success that 2013 was.
We know we can count on your continued support.  Please reach out to family and friends and see if they would like to join our volunteer team as well.
We wish all of our wonderful friends of Help 4 Kids and your families a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
